Olympics Dress-up Day
Friday 6 August 2021
Today was our Olympics dress-up day at school.
We had a very special visitor who came and talked to us about winning a gold medal at the 1976 Olympic Games held in Montreal, Canada. Trevor Manning was the hockey goal keeper for New Zealand. Trevor saved an important goal and in so doing it he smashed his knee cap. We think Trevor was very brave. We loved listening to him!
We loved listening to him!
The real, gold Olympic Medal was impressive.
