On the last day of term 2 Te Kakano and Te Pihi celebrated their geometry learning with a shape party! Parents sent along some amazing shape food! THANK YOU!

Easter Fun!
In Te Kakano we are learning to speak clearly so others can hear and understand what we say. We have also been talking about all the people who help us with our learning. Here are some of the important ideas that came out of our discussion:
In Te Kakano we are learning to speak clearly so others can hear and understand what we say. We have also been talking about all the people who help us with our learning. Here are some of the important ideas that came out of our discussion:
- We like school.
- The teachers and other adults at school are friendly and kind.
- We should be kind to others.
- When teachers greet us we should return the greeting.
- Our School Values will help us to be great learners and lovely people who help our community.

So here we are . . . Easter Bunnies hopping around the school to say thank you to all the adults who make Paparore School a happy, safe place. We all had a turn at thanking an adult and sharing an Easter Basket that we had made.
Thank you to parents, whanau, staff and senior students who have helped Te Kakano students have a wonderful first term of learning.
