Home Learning Rewards

 Hut Building

On Thursday afternoon most of the school students celebrated their efforts of consistent home learning. They got to choose one of a variety of interesting activities made available by teachers.

These students had so much fun creating huts in the sensory garden with only fabric, sticks, pegs and dead palm fronds. Older students worked collaboratively with younger students and the teachers were very impressed by this, the amazing hut designs and creative play. Everyone was disappointed when it was pack-up time because they were really enjoying themselves but the cleaning and packing up was done in no time with everyone pitching in and doing their bit.

                                        Cooking in the mud kitchen.
Team effort.

2022 Watermelon feast

We were very thankful to the kind person who gave the school lots of delicious watermelons.

Yummy scrummy!
Mouth watering and thirst quenching!
We all wanted some more.

Watermelon Echo Song
 (Sung to: "Frere Jacques")

Oh No (Oh No)
I just swallowed ( I just swallowed)
A watermelon seed ( a watermelon seed)
Will I grow a watermelon ( will I grow a watermelon)
Deep in me?  (deep in me?)

Oh no (Oh No)
that seed won't grow (that seed won't grow)
In my tummy (in my tummy)
There's no rain or sunshine (there's no rain or sunshine)
deep in me (deep in me)
