Term 2 2022

Managing Ourselves

We sadly had to say goodbye to five students [Macey, Janie, Paeton, Lincoln and Ashton] who moved onwards and upwards into Te Pihi class.

Te Kakano welcomed eight new students. We are very happy to have Mikayla, Logan, Kylo, Kyle, Levi, Isaiah, Josiah and Malerkye join us.

We have been learning about how to manage ourselves so that we can learn, help others learn and make friends. We made our own class big book about this with Mrs Hammond.

We sit and eat our lunch.

We finish our learning and put our things away in the right place before break times.

We find things that are not in their right place and put them away.

We love reading and learn new things everyday. We are looking carefully at the words and tracking with our finger.

We play thoughtfully and creatively . . .

. . . and tidy up afterwards.

We focus on our learning.

We have marvellous mat manners!

We put our book bags in the book basket.

We mark  ourselves present when we get to school.

We hang our bags up, zip them closed and make sure our shoes are neatly in pairs.

We line up quickly and quietly behind the line leaders.
